First of all GIANT THANKS goes out to Reid and Shelly Wildung of Wildung Showpigs for giving me the opportunity to house and offer this Genetic Beast to the public. When I first saw Pawn Star at 75 pounds back in the spring of 2017 at Franz Farms, I thought he was the best little pig I had seen and out of an extremely deep litter on top of it. Unfortunately I couldn’t justify the $$$ for the few sows I was running at that time, so he went to work for Wildung Showpigs and has done an excellent job over the last few years. Pawn Star’s mother comes straight from the heart of the Schwecke Genetics herd, she was named Grand Champion Market Gilt at the Cottonwood county fair and went on to be a top 5 overall breeding gilt at the MN State Fair Junior Barrow Classic. His Visionary grandmother is a littermate to the Grand Champion Market Barrow at MN State Fair 4-H show in 2015 bred by Schwecke and shown by Ryan Franz. Did I mention that the popular new boar at Schwecke/Wildung/Nielsen’s called “Last Minute”, the Grand Gilt at Louisville, the Champion Barrow at NE State Fair Open Show, 4th Overall Barrow at the MN State Fair Junior Barrow Classic and a few others that have been hitting it big this summer are all dammed by Pawn Star Mommas!!!!
